✨ Scents to Color Everyday Life
Removing a match from the box ignites a spark that lights the incense. There's something tactile and beautiful about the disappearing trail of smoke that emanates forth from the recently lit match.
While the flame lingers only for but a mere few 10 minutes, those who catch a whiff of the scene will find themselves overwhelmed with a sense of peace and connectedness.
✨ Made in Hyogo Prefecture
Hyogo Prefecture was a manufacturing and export center for matches in the early 1900s but with the invention of lighters, their popularity began to decline. Kobe Match was introduced to incense maker Daihatsu and along with design team TRUNK DESIGN, the hibi match was born.
It was awarded the 2019 GOOD DESIGN AWARD, under the Good Focus Award "Design of Technique and Tradition.
